Who can get involved in the Group?

You can become a member of the Group if you fit the description below:

  • Live in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland)
  • Are aged between 11-24
  • Have been diagnosed with a long-term rheumatic condition like juvenile arthritis or lupus (these are just examples, all rheumatic conditions are included)
  • Are under the care of a rheumatologist i.e. you visit a rheumatologist about your condition

You do not need to have any kind of experience or skills to take part in the Group. In fact if you have never taken part or got involved in research before, we encourage you to sign up! Everybody’s opinion are valuable and it is your experiences with your condition that are most important. As a member of the group you will receive training, devised specifically  to help you understand the research process better.
